The concept of The Animal Kingdom began as a unique animal themed gift and natural pet food store where animal lovers could meet other people who shared the same love of animals.  Over the course of 10 years, the store has evolved and moved from the Village of Hamburg to a larger store located in Orchard Park, New York.  The store retains its original selection of animal related giftware featuring dogs, cats, horses and wildlife, and now has a larger focus on natural pet foods, treats and supplements.  

The Animal Kingdom prides itself on having a friendly and knowledgeable team that is here to assist you and make your visit to our shop a pleasant one.  If you like going to a place where you’ll be greeted with a smile and can know all of the staff by name, then you’re in the right place.  Our shop is not too big, but not too small…it’s just right!  If you like going to a shop where your favorite pet is treated to a belly rub and yummy treat, then you’re still in the right place!

We truly care about you and your pets and only stock items that meet our own stringent requirements whether it’s pet foods, toys, treats, or beds.  And, our own “furry product testers” have tried them all.  Pets are truly important parts of our families and that’s why giving them the overall quality of life they deserve is so important for all of us!  Any spare time we have is often spent on continuing education through reading books, attending seminars, talking to holistic and conventional veterinary practitioners and gathering the shared experiences of our customers with regard to pet nutrition and behavior.  Its amazing how much we can all help each other just by listening and sharing this wealth of information.  

We offer a large selection of natural pet foods & treats, supplements, and raw diets.  In addition, we really want to make our store a one stop shopping experience so we stock many of the essential supply items for dogs and cats as well.   And, you’ll also be pleased to know that we have one of the largest selections of animal related gifts in the area.  So, not only can you find lots of great things to make your pets happy, you’ll also find lots of fun and unique gift items to keep your humans happy too!
